Globally renown certificates like Ökotex, Bluesign, GOTS,BSCI and others ensure that we are not only using ecorrect materials but also that those are being used in an acceptable production method.

Global Recycling Standard (GRS)

This standard is intended for companies that wish to make a content claim on the amount of recycled material in the final product. The GRS is based on a tracking and tracing principle used for certified products; in addition, issues pertaining to environmental and social criteria are also incorporated in line with requests from various leading members in the industry. A further choice was made in the development of this standard to adopt a transaction certificate system. This provides a superior monitoring and controlling mechanism within both supply and value chains to further ensure the integrity of certified final products.

Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS)

The aim of the standard is to define requirements to ensure organic status of textiles, from harvesting of the raw materials, through environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing up to labelling in order to provide a credible assurance to the end consumer.

This standard for organic textiles covers the production, processing, manufacturing, packaging, labelling, exportation, importation and distribution of all natural fibres. The final products may include, but are not limited to fibre products, yarns, fabrics and clothes

Bluesign® standard

The bluesign® standard analyzes all the input in producing procedure, from raw material, to chemical component, to water and energy resources. The bluesign® standard is dedicated on protecting consumer and reducing the environmental impact by minimizing waste and emissions and by reducing resource usage. It is designed to provide solutions concerning Environment, Health & Safety on all levels.

Responsible Down Standard

The Responsible Down Standard allows companies to ensure that the down in their products comes from ethically treated geese. The North Face developed the standard in partnership with Control Union, a respected global certification body, and Textile Exchange for research, writing, and stakeholder review. The chain of custody of the certified down is backed up by TE’s Content Claim Standard.
